GivingTuesday 2019

FACEBOOK WILL MATCH YOUR DONATION TO FHPC ON GIVINGTUESDAY!
Tuesday, December 3, 2019

GivingTuesday is a global day of giving celebrated the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in the United States. To help raise awareness of charitable causes and amplify donors’ generosity, Facebook is matching up to $7 million in eligible donations made on Facebook during GivingTuesday 2019. The Facebook matching donations are made on a first-come basis so if you’d like to make a gift to the church it is imperative that you make your donation as early as possible on that day.

Help Facebook double your funds as you make a one-time donation, finish paying off your 2019 pledge or fulfill your 2020 pledge by donating your funds now. You may also make a payment toward your Capital Campaign pledge or ask your family members and friends to make a donation as a Christmas gift on your behalf.

  • You must be a Facebook member to make a donation. Before making your donation, your Facebook account must have an established payment method (credit card, debit card, or PayPal).
  • Donations are matched dollar for dollar on a first-come, first-served basis until $7,000,000 in eligible donations are made on Facebook.
  • Any US-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit eligible to receive donations on Facebook can be matched.
  • Facebook will match up to a total of $100,000 per nonprofit organization.
Each donor can have up to $20,000 in eligible donations matched on GivingTuesday.
  • Facebook covers processing fees so that when you donate using Facebook’s payments platform to FHPC, 100% of your donation goes to support our church.

See the Giving Tuesday Donation Match Program Terms for more details about the match program. You may also contact Kathy Cole at the church office during office hours on Monday or by email at kathycole92@gmail.com.

Don’t let this great opportunity slip by! Mark your calendar – and set your alarm clock for making your donation this Tuesday at 6 am.
