View Our Worship Services

Are you away from Fountain Hills or homebound and unable to attend worship at FHPC? Would you like a friend or family member to be able to hear the message from one of our services? Thanks to Ron Waldo, our Elder who oversees technology for FHPC, our 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. worship services are now being video recorded using Facebook Live. This puts the service on the FHPC Facebook page and anyone to “stream” or view the service on their computer or phone, as it is happening — or later on, at your own convenience.

You can connect to FHPC’s Facebook page directly by clicking here.  Facebook members can login and “like” the broadcast, BUT — you do not need to have an account on Facebook to watch.

As an alternative to going to Facebook, you can click “Worship” on this website menu, or go the webpage www.fhpresbyterian.info/worship.  Here you’ll have the option to connect to the FHPC Facebook page, watch videos of previous services, or listen to previous sermons.

FHPC Support of First Responders’ Christmas Tree – June 17th Deadline

Police officers, firefighters and paramedics put themselves on the front lines of dangerous and traumatic events, and it’s common to wonder how you can thank these individuals, perhaps lessening the emotional burden of their work. FHPC has received a request from former mayor Linda Kavanaugh, a good friend of FHPC, and her ad hoc committee to support the F.H. First Responders’ Christmas Tree. The plan calls for a 15-foot blue-lighted artificial tree to be placed downtown during the holidays to recognize and thank all first responders who engage in public safety for our community. This simple gesture would do wonders for first responders’ morale, as well as, demonstrating public unity/support for their tireless dedication to safety.

Members and friends of FHPC are encouraged to support this project and make checks out to:  “First Responders Christmas Tree” and mail/drop off at the church office.  The Mission Committee will gather the donations and send them in bulk around June 17. By grouping the funds in this manner will show that our church supports community projects. This is not a contribution to FHPC and there is no tax deductibility issued.

Food Bank Special Request

During the summer, school students who qualify for the hot lunch program during the year may go without a nutritious meal on any given day. Hence, their families rely of the Extended Hands Food Bank for assistance. Please be generous with your food donations into the basket on Sundays throughout the summer.

Water for Vets

The hot weather is here.  Please remember to donate cases of water for MANA House –  MANA (Marine, Army, Navy, Air Force) which is a shelter in Phoenix for homeless veterans. Please drop off the cases at the church office. You can also donate money and the Committee will purchase the cases of water. Please write “water” on the memo line of your check and either place in the collection tray or give to Marta in the office.

Hope Presbytery Stated Meeting – Saturday, June 1 | 9 am – 2 pm | Sanctuary

All are invited to join together to worship God and hear from Dana Allin, ECO Synod Executive, about the ECO 10-year vision and how to live into it as Flourishing Churches.

Since we will be hosting this event for Hope Presbytery, we need helpful hands and smiling faces to welcome attendees, assist with parking, registration and serving food. Please RSVP to the church office to volunteer and/or attend as we need a headcount for lunch. The cost for lunch is $8.
