March 2020 – Men’s Fellowship Month

ATTENTION FHPC MEN

March is Men’s Fellowship month, which means we will provide ushers, greeters, and a curb angel for the five Sundays in March. We really need all available men to step up to help serve in these positions for the month of March. I’ll be calling soon, so please try to volunteer for the Sundays you are available.

Men’s Sunday on March 22 is being planned by Roy Nickel (480-816-0229) and Bob Titus (608-280-1301), so please contact them if you are able to participate in Men’s Sunday worship service.
Thanks, Bill Matty (480-588-8815).

Mission Challenge from Men’s Bible Study

CAN YOU SPARE $1 PER WEEK?

This past fall, the Thursday morning Men’s Bible Study Group decided to pick a mission program to support. The program chosen was FREE THE KIDS, a program that was already ongoing and designed to help children and their families in Haiti. Our local connection is Jack Reynolds. We each agreed to donate $1 (or more) per week. Now, we would like to extend an invitation to each person in the congregation to set aside $1 per week and give it to this program. You can give weekly or when the chance arises. Put your dollars in an envelope marked “Free the Kids” and put it in the offering plate. If you want more information about the program or how you can help, click here or contact Jack Reynolds and look for brochures in the Narthex.

2020 Souper Bowl Sunday

SOUPER BOWL SUNDAY
Football Fans (and others as well!): It’s time for the annual FHPC Souper Bowl to provide much needed caned goods including soup and packaged food items to the Extended Hands Food Bank where the need continues and we can help.

There will be two carts outside the narthex entrance THIS SUNDAY. One cart will have the S.F. 49ers logo and the other the K.C. Chiefs emblem. Place your donations into the cart of the team you favor or the one you predict is going to win. We will announce the results on this page in two weeks. Thanks in advance for your donations and for playing our game.
