July 4th CelebrationThe Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church is doing a special celebration for July Fourth.
At 7:30 p.m. on Independence Day at the Fellowship Hall at 13001 N. Fountain Hills Blvd., residents are invited to gather to enjoy refreshments in air-conditioned comfort for America’s 250th anniversary, according to a press release.
Participants are encouraged to bring an appetizer or dessert to share, while lemonade and ice water will be provided. At 8 p.m., there will be group singing of patriotic songs among other entertainment.
Ending the festivities is town fireworks at 9 p.m., which residents can watch through the church windows, which provide a clear view of Fountain Park.
The event is free to attend with the only admission fee being an appetizer or dessert to share.
